Merville, of Columbia, Herkimer Co., N.Y. of the first part and grantee, Aaron Ward, of Warren, Herkimer Co., N.Y. of the second part. Merville conveys to Ward a parcel of land lying in the town of Columbia which is part of a patent granted to James Henderson and others known as part of great Lot number eight with a legal description following. The land was bounded by the lands of Stephen Griffith, Merville and Ward and contained eleven acres more or less excluding 1/4 acre which was sold to Fredrick Lyman for a mill yard near his saw mill.
